The Orb Table Lamp reimagines an age-old macramé technique through a modern lens. Aimee uses Josephine knots to form a bold, symmetrical pattern across the spherical shade—an elegant nod to traditional fishnet bottles. Part of the basket-weave family, this knot is celebrated for both its beauty and strength.

The timber base is hand-turned on a lathe in Gloucestershire and completed in Aimee’s Berkshire studio. Tactile leather cords overlay the hand-painted surface beneath, creating a striking graphic pattern and a distinctly contemporary aesthetic.
